Notice for Destruction of Records Prior to 2019

In accordance with Federal Statute 20 U.S.C. § 1412(a)(8) and 1447(c), Union Elementary School District hereby announces its intention to destroy Special Education records prior to June 2019 and earlier. Before the destruction of these records, parents or legal guardians have the right to review their child's records.

Parents or legal guardians who wish to review their child's Special Education records are kindly requested to contact the Student Services office at 623-478-5017. This request must be made prior to October 20, 2023, to ensure ample time for arrangements to be made.

Please note that the destruction of records is a routine procedure designed to comply with applicable regulations and ensure the privacy and security of student information.
