UNION ESD SKILL OF THE WEEK
As part of its well-rounded education, Union ESD dedicates itself to helping students develop socially and emotionally along with academics. Our Student Success team has selected a "Skill of the Week" for each week of the school year, and we will update them here! Parents, we've also added the steps for each social skill so you can reinforce these at home to continue this learning!
May 11-15: Bully Prevention Week
- Being an upstander means you help others when you see bullying.
- Standing up shows you care and makes bullying less likely.
- When you speak up, others feel safer and more supported.
- Upstanders help create a kinder, stronger school community.
- Saying something can stop bullying before it gets worse.
