Union Elementary Construction

Exciting changes are happening at Union Elementary School as we prepare the campus to serve students in grades PK-8. This transition addresses the district’s growing student population and ensures our facilities can accommodate the evolving needs of our students.

Historical Building Renovation

As part of our commitment to preserving the rich history of our district, we are restoring and renovating the original Union Elementary Schoolhouse, which has stood for over 100 years. This building was the first schoolhouse serving our small—yet growing—community at the time and remains a symbol of our district’s deep-rooted legacy in education.

This renovation project will transform the historic structure into a Governing Boardroom and Welcome Center, providing a dedicated space for board meetings, community engagement, and visitor support. The restoration will carefully balance historical preservation with modern upgrades, ensuring the space is functional, accessible, and welcoming for all.

Central Office Renovation

To better serve our students, families, and staff, the Central Office is undergoing renovations to improve efficiency, accessibility, and overall functionality. The project includes upgrades to office spaces, meeting rooms, and public areas to create a more welcoming and efficient environment for community members and employees. These improvements will enhance operations and ensure that the Central Office remains a supportive hub for our schools.

Transportation Yard Relocation

In January 2023, we relocated our Transportation Yard. This project has significantly improved the efficiency and organization of the district’s transportation services, ensuring better support for students and families.
