Meet Dos Rios Elementary Principal Renee Estrella-Chavez

Welcome Dos Rios Elementary Families!

I am Renee Estrella-Chavez and I would like to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year! This is my 23rd year in education and I am proud to be here serving the Dos Rios community! During my years as an educator, I have served as a classroom teacher, reading interventionist, 21st Century coordinator, instructional coach, professional development coordinator, GCU professor and assistant principal. I am also a wife and a mother to three children, 10, 13 and 23 years old.

I am looking forward to the new year because together, we will continue to inspire hope and empower all of our kindergarten-8th grade students to reach their goals and dreams. We will do this collaboratively with the support of you, the Dos Rios staff, and our community.

At Dos Rios we believe all of our students are capable of success, and to help them become their best selves we offer a strong curriculum along with positive behavioral and learning supports.
