At Union ESD, we are proud to offer transportation services to eligible families. Our mission is to safely transport children to and from school to allow them to have the best education possible. The smoother the transportation process, the more children can focus on what is really important: Learning!
Eligibility
Transportation is available for students whose residence is outside a 1-mile safe walking radius of their home school (A.R.S. 15-816 Policy EEA) or per Individual Education Plan (I.E.P). Transportation is not provided for students attending through Open Enrollment.

Rider Expectations
Student safety is our top priority. All riders must be approved for their route and stop and have their school ID to ride the bus to and from school each day. This ensures safe transportation is provided only to eligible UESD students.
Bus service is limited to eligible students.
Requesting Transportation
Families must submit transportation requests online each year and be approved and assigned a route. Please allow up to two weeks for processing, approval and route assignment. All new eligible riders will begin service on a Monday to ensure clear communication with families, schools and drivers.
